"Taking The Innocence From The Sunshine” is about a woman fighting to regain the innocence that was stolen from her as a little girl. Throught out the book you will notice the trials she had to face, such as, fornication, abuse, abortion, neglect, drugs, and abandonment. No one understood her fight and the only release she had was poetry. In this, book she comes to a crossroad, should she will break all the rules trying to eliminate a generational curse for her daughter, or will she fight for her life and salvation? This book was great. As a victim it gives me hope for a better tomorrow. It let me know there is a way out and I don't have to let my pass control my future. I think it was very brave of Lytoni Brown to share her story. A Victim This book provides hope for any woman who has been a victim of abuse. Lytoni Brown courageously writes about her own abuse and struggles in life while encouraging others to find their way using their faith. What a brave way to use the written word!
