Taking the Medicine

'Taking the Medicine' is a play devoted to issues on a micro and macro level concerning corruption and multi-national corporationscontrolling cartels and globalization. The action is centred on a small management committee of a mental health charity made up from a cross section of British society: an ex-army man a bohemian upper middle class woman an older retired businessman two service users and two new recruits young men each with a hidden agenda. Focussing on three separate committee meetings the lives and characters of the committee members are revealed whilst wider issues are brought into the spotlight.....
