Talent Management

Literature reviewed on the subjects of talent management and retention indicates that these are challenges experienced by many organisations both locally and internationally. When looked at closely the cost of employee turnover is significant and even startling. The purpose of this study set out to determine whether talent management has an impact on employee retention and also exposes the cost implications of staff turnover. To investigate these issues a survey questionnaire was carried out at the BMW Franchise operating within the Imperial group. After collating the data from the survey a discussion is followed under the various themes namely; talent management and job satisfaction talent management and turnover talent management and employee retention and the cost of employee turnover. This study provides information on the data analysed from the study. Assumptions are drawn to show the importance of talent management and the cost to a company if talent is lost.
