Tales from the Toiletside

<p><em>Tales from the Toiletside</em> is a fairly forgettable collection of flash fiction short stories and the Kafkaesque novelette <em>A Metamorphosis. </em>This pathetic anthology combines dark humor existentialism absurdism and social criticism to explore the absurdities of modern life. From existential dilemmas to satirical critiques of society each story attempts to be a good one. The author tries too hard to be Chuck Palahniuk Kurt Vonnegut or Franz Kafka. Probably good enough for fans of Kafkaesque literature absurdist fiction and darkly comedic storytelling.</p>
