<p>Eva Benson was a survivor. She lived a life many women lived in the mid to late twentieth century a single mother struggling to raise her children. <strong><em>Tales of Eva</em> honors her ninety-three years of life on this earth written from her own son.</strong> From her beginnings in a small Midwestern town to inner-city Chicago and her final years in Southern California Eva was never one to blend in.</p><p>Filled with humor and tragedy M. Benson's recollections of his mother told from his and his siblings' perspectives is a testament to the legacy she left behind.</p><p>About the Author<br />M. Benson (Bob) is an artist living in San Francisco. He is the father to two grown children and grandfather to two. Living in California he enjoys his daily walks on the beach.</p>
