Tales of Hazard

<p><em>Tales of Hazard </em>is the only record of some unique broadcasts organised by the BBC in the summer of 1932 under the title of the 'Hazard Series'. </p><p>Each broadcast was given by a man who had risked his life fighting for his country or was simply fighting to stay alive in the face of uneven odds. </p><p>They are extraordinary first-hand accounts of true bravery and derring-do and will prompt you to consider how ordinary and safe most of our lives have now become. </p><p>This Daredevil Books edition includes carefully selected photographs and illustrations and we are indebted to John Blashford-Snell CBE no stranger to danger himself for his perceptive preface on the nature of bravery. </p>
