It narrates the 300 year history of the Tang Dynasty in plain and fluent language consisting of eight volumes.</p><p></p><p>The second volume is The Governance of Zhenguan which tells the history of Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin during the Zhenguan period. The term 'Zhenguan' comes from the Book of Changes Section 2: 'The Way of Heaven and Earth is the Way of Zhenguan.' The phrase 'Zhenguan' reflects Li Shimin's ambition to govern the world. Internally he opened up a wide range of opinions valued the talents rested and recuperated with the people and society became increasingly prosperous; Externally he endured hardships and endured hardships for four years then defeated his archenemy the Eastern Turkic and annihilated the Tuyuhun and Xue Yantuo. Although he also began to enjoy himself and take elixirs in the later period of the Zhenguan period he remained the most outstanding emperor in ancient Chinese history.
