In the streets and markets of Mexico the food and beverage stalls and shops are called Tequeria in the local dialect. A look at its etymology reveals that it is derived from the Spanish word caria. Which means I wanted to. ‘Zapteria’ means shoe store ‘Pescadaria’ means place where fish is sold. It just came to mind that why such words could have come from Keria? If a spouse or merchant shows something and the customer sees it and says Yes ... this is what I wanted!
