About The Book

The novel follows the character of Salathiel who is the Wandering Jew of the legend. According to the story Salathiel is a Jewish cobbler who mocks Jesus on the way to the crucifixion. As a result of his disrespect he is cursed to live until the end of time perpetually roaming the earth and witnessing the suffering and changes of the world through the centuries. The narrative chronicles Salathiel’s long and arduous journey across different historical periods and geographical locations. Throughout his wanderings Salathiel encounters various historical figures and experiences significant events all the while grappling with the burden of his curse. The novel explores themes of redemption the search for forgiveness and the human condition as Salathiel comes to terms with his eternal punishment. As he travels Salathiel reflects on the nature of his curse the meaning of life and his own spiritual journey. The story delves into philosophical and theological questions about sin redemption and the divine plan.
