Tarzan and the Ant-Men

Tarzan and the Ant-Men is not a novel written by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The main Tarzan series consists of 24 books and Tarzan and the Ant-Men is not among them. However Burroughs did write a book titled Tarzan and the Ant-Men as part of a separate series called The Pellucidar Series. This series is set in a hollow Earth realm called Pellucidar and features a different protagonist named David Innes rather than Tarzan. In Tarzan and the Ant-Men David Innes is transported to Pellucidar where he encounters various civilizations and creatures including the ant-like creatures known as the Ant-Men. The story follows his adventures as he explores this strange underground world and becomes involved in conflicts and power struggles. While Tarzan and the Ant-Men does not directly involve Tarzan it offers readers an intriguing and imaginative tale within the larger universe created by Burroughs. The Pellucidar series explores a different setting and set of characters but still captures the spirit of adventure and exploration that is characteristic of Burroughs works.
