About The Book

In Tarzan the Magnificent the story takes Tarzan back to the African jungle where he grew up accompanied by his old friend Muviro. There they encounter a tribe of pygmies who have been enslaved by a group of ivory hunters. Tarzan decides to help the pygmies and to put an end to the ivory hunters illegal activities. The novel is filled with thrilling action sequences as Tarzan battles the ivory hunters and their allies including wild animals and dangerous terrain. Along the way Tarzan also confronts a rival a Frenchman named Albert Werper who seeks to profit from the ivory trade. Tarzan the Magnificent explores themes of friendship loyalty and the importance of protecting the natural world. It showcases Burroughs vivid descriptions of the African landscape and his skill at depicting tense high-stakes action scenes. The novel also features several new characters including Nkima a small monkey who becomes Tarzans loyal companion.
