Task based learning: a didactic proposal to improve oral expression in English in tenth grade students of the Juan Pablo II educational institution in the city of Villavicencio Meta Colombia aims to use the task based learning method as a strategy to improve oral expression in English encouraging collaborative learning and the use of the language in real situations. To carry out this research a quasi-experimental design was implemented which establishes a cause and effect relationship between the dependent variable: oral expression in English and the independent variable: results obtained from the application of the task-based learning method.
