About the Book: Tathapi Bachichhi is a collection of 13 poems that takes the reader through the poetic journey of the author from his childhood to his youth. Starting with devotional poems at the very beginning it winds down through patriotic poems childrens poems revolutionary poems and finally philosophical poems. This book gives a glimpse into the natural evolution of a poet as he grows in age and experience. This book is a delightful read for those who want to understand the growth of a poetic mind. The author has added the background context to each subsection as well as to each poem to make the reader feel the poem organically without laboring through the possible scenarios under which each poem may have been written. About the Author: Subhransu Sekhar Mohapatra is a scientist by profession by writer by passion. Born on May 23rd 1975 in Cuttack district of Odisha Tathapi Banchichhi is his third literary creation. His earlier anothology of poems titled Patha Sangini and short story collection Choramane Asithile have been widely liked by both readers and critics alike. Subhransu is also the translator of internationally awarded childrens educational book Trashonomics to Odia. He is popular for his insightful articles on his online blog page Original Free Thinker. Inspired by his government award winning teacher parents Shri Chaturbhuja Mohapatra and Dr. Kanakalata Mohapatra Subhransu has been writing since his childhood. He is based out of Bangalore where he stays with his wife Susmita and children Adarsh and Ananya.
