tattoos on my soul

<p>We all have them whether we like it or not. Little mementos of the good times and the bad of sadness and of joy of discovery and of loss of innocence and of heartaches - a collection of scars some black faded to gray with age that we try to hide away others bright and cheerful that we happily display. A beautiful mosaic of experiences some wonderful some devastating. What better way to record such emotions than to tattoo them on one's soul? And what better way to take those tattoos and show them to the world than through poetry?</p>
