The present book provides comprehensive information for the identification of genera Boswellia & Eriolaena in India. Documentation of species has been made through field tours and species reported by earlier workers has been cited in the book. Taxonomic revision on genus Boswellia comprises 2 species in India. Identification description photographs and conservation issues of all species provided in this book. Taxonomic revision of Indian Eriolaena comprises 7 taxa of which 5 species and 2 varieties throughout the India. The detailed description artificial key mapping and photographs of all species provide for easy identification. The present study is a comprehensive treatment of two genera Boswellia and Eriolaena in India based on literature specimens deposited in herbaria and live collections.
