<p>Do you know when arrogance or pride arises in a person? It happens when something they have believed in for a long time is declared false. This could be love servitude trust habit God caste or religion&mdash;anything.</p><p>The moment a person realizes that their belief was an illusion their entire life feels like a lie. It is in that moment of disappointment&mdash;when they recognize accept and attempt to change themselves and the next generation&mdash;that social evolution and reform take place.</p><p>Not everyone needs to have the same beliefs. Do beliefs shape life or does life shape beliefs? I leave that debate to the universe.</p><p>I am not an enemy of any belief. But I am always ready to challenge beliefs that devalue human dignity and to cleanse minds of such ideas.</p><p>What can I do? Poetry is my only power!</p>
