In honour of wisdom a grand seminar on 'Man and Divinity' unfolds revealing the absurdity of existence. Inside a lecture hall professors Max who stands for knowledge and Kim a sceptical spirit judging the same are pinned against each other in a duel of ideas. Several other teachers are also participating in the seminar. As they ponder over the nature of being and await the arrival of their current-day KNOW ALL the ferocity of human frailty comes crashing down. A plane crashes. As the voice of wisdom falls silent indeed our constructs become monuments of vacuity. In this tragicomic play Teachers' Day contemplates the existential crisis of a world adrift struggling with futility amid the chase for meaning in a universe indifferent to our grand designs a testimony to the poignant human wish for purpose amid absurdity.
