Teaching English with Movies

This book examines the benefits of using movies in English language teaching programs. It aims to explore how movies can enhance English language instruction and address challenges related to their use. Using a quantitative approach data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to English teachers. The study concludes that incorporating movies into EFL instruction can effectively improve students'' language skills and create a more engaging learning environment. Movies provide contextualized language input promote cultural awareness and increase student enthusiasm for learning English. The study also recommends using worksheets and interactive video quizzes on platforms like Edpuzzle to create movie-based teaching materials.
