Teaching football

I would first like to thank God to him be all honour and glory. And also to all those who helped me in this work my family for their unconditional support my advisor Prof. Dr. Osmar M. Souza Júnior who guided me throughout the research process professors Me. Roberto N. Braga and Drnd. Carlos Rogério Thiengo for their guidance on the final version of the work and Prof Neusa Valentina Golineli who made it possible for me to carry out my research in her classes. Many thanks to all of you. This work arose from some concerns: Doesn't teaching through technique de-characterise the game? Isn't it necessary to understand what the game really is in order to learn football? Is teaching through problem situations effective? These were some of the questions that guided this research. The work doesn't offer absolute truths but I'm trying to contribute so that more questions can be asked because that's the only way we'll evolve the way we teach this passionate sport.
