Teaching Strategies in Literature Subjects in PUP Taguig Branch

This book focuses on the teaching strategies in literature subjects towards the development of instructional modalities. The teachers’ job is to develop students’ intelligence. In the traditional teaching method particularly in English Literature teaching is mainly absorbed on the cultivation of students’ linguistic intelligence: the remembering of literary knowledge through reciting and the reading of literary works. But not all students are good at linguistic aptitude so teachers should contemplate over how to advance students’ literary appreciating ability through manifold features. The literature component in English is aimed at enhancing students’ language proficiency and it is also geared for the purpose of generating the aesthetic part of the language that is personal response from students.
