This book was taken from my Masters work. It offers insights on how to teach writing to English second learners. Specifically it looks at the teaching of writing in English First Additional Language (EFAL) Intermediate Phase in South African classrooms. Its focus is on the work of two South African Grade 5 teachers. The book also explores factors that inform teachers approaches to teaching writing.
