<p>Teahouse is a representative play by Lao She and is widely acclaimed in the theater industry for its ability to depict a character with just one line of dialogue. Not only has it been performed as a classic of Chinese drama for a long time but it has also been translated into various languages and performed abroad deeply loved by people from different cultural backgrounds. All the stories in the play take place in a teahouse. In the teahouse people come and go gathering various characters and diverse backgrounds. A large teahouse is like a small society.
