Technological information as a tool for active labour market integration

This work is the result of a study on the relationship between supply and demand for technological information during the development of a master's degree at the Federal University of Pará. Its main objective was a descriptive and exploratory study seeking to find out about existing barriers in the processes related to the needs of workers in the furniture industry in Belém-PA in terms of access to technological information. Some libraries of higher and technical education institutions were also investigated in order to find out about their information products and services that could be offered to industrial workers.
