Aerodynamics of Cars

Aerodynamic Design of cars is crucial as it directly affects the fuel economy & stability in motion .Therefore it is necessary to have a clear understanding of external aerodynamics of road vehicles which are nearer to bluff bodies .Also wind resistance is amongst the three significant factors (Efficiency of engine weight & aerodynamic drag )which influence the fuel efficiency .Therefore needs a proper focus in the early stage of design .Authors have tried to provide insight into Design Process.
