This monograph outlines scientifically grounded methods developed by the authors for producing 3A grade raw silk that meets international standards achieved through advancements in the technology for spinning fine-fiber cocoons of mulberry silkworms.Through a theoretical analysis of factors influencing raw silk reeling adjustments were made to the technological parameters involved in producing high-quality silk. These include refining the raw material preparation process optimizing the reeling speed and introducing a new two-pass silk production method based on both theoretical and practical research. Practical investigations also led to the development of parameters for cocoon reeling steaming and soaking considering the fineness of cocoon filaments and the properties of the shell. These innovations resulted in improved silk product quality and established the theoretical and practical basis for diversifying silk product types.
