Teddy's Socks

<p>Teddy's Socks is a story about a young man growing up during the Great Depression and doing extra work to help support his family. As he grew older and started his own family he passed on his character and spirit of thankfulness. His great-granddaughter always wondered why her great-grandfather only gave out socks- even more so why they were wrapped in newspaper. But after many years of sitting and listening to her great-grandfather's stories she finally understood: the season of giving is much more about the love and care someone has to offer than the physical gift itself. Even better the gift you give can be meaningful and useful not just about having the newest things. Teddy always gave his loved ones what they needed; whether it was a word of encouragement or a helping hand he was always there to show what hard work and perseverance looked like.</p>
