Adolescent pregnancy has traditionally been approached as a public health and socioeconomic problem mainly in Latin American and Caribbean countries which have one of the highest rates in the world. This systematic review with a qualitative approach aims to analyze the phenomenon from previous studies related to pregnancy motherhood and fatherhood in adolescence recognizing that the latter presents historical research gaps. Articles from the databases Dialnet Redalyc Scielo ScienceDirect and Ebsco published between 2013 and 2023 were reviewed and systematized through the PRISMA 2020 methodology finding relevant findings on the social family and psychological factors of pregnancy motherhood and fatherhood in adolescence revealed from the experience of its protagonists.
