Tehya's Walk

<p>Tehya is a golden retriever therapy dog; she loves her weekly job as a reading tutor. Sometimes she visits with older or sick people brightening their day. In this story Tehya travels downtown meeting her therapy dog friends at a charity walk for children. As she walks to meet her friends she realizes this is not the typical therapy visit it’s more exciting with the balloon arches and families with children. Tehya has a surprise encounter where she faces apprehension and leads her to a fun greeting nose to nose! This makes many families laugh especially a shy girl. Tehya gains friends and pets as she volunteers with her owner at the charity as only the patience and gentleness of a therapy dog can provide. <em>Tehya’s Walk</em> brings awareness to benefits of therapy dogs in this sweet story.</p>
