Any signs of tenderness and pain can cause major discomfort to the patient affecting day-to-day activities.The misconception of TMJ disorders only occur in young adults and older age groups should be ruled out and early detection and diagnosis of such kinds of disorders should be made in childhood. Hence this early detection can aid in the early intervention of disease progression.
