Tend and be Tended

A promise must be kept and the only way to do so is to leave it all behind and hit the open road. But responsibilities get in the way as does the past. Perhaps there's a way to leave and stay to make new meaning out of lost opportunity to create a beginning from what has ended to will it into being.
