Excerpt from Teneriffe Lace: Designs and Instructions<br><br>In making this design the threads are divided into equal parts after the centre is darned the number allowing the division of eight to a section.<br><br>In making a wheel with fewer threads see that the sec tions divide equally. Should the wheel contain eighty threads it would be best to divide it into ten parts having eight to a part each tooth counting for two threads.<br><br>Weave each section back and forth two threads at a time until about half way from the centre carry thread back to centre and fasten continue with next section.
