Tennyson's Poetry

A sizable collection of Tennyson's poems that was edited in accordance with the Penguin English Poets series guidelines. This book focuses on the time era represented by Maud (1855) and In Memoriam (1850). Alfred Lord Tennyson served as Poet Laureate for a significant portion of Queen Victoria's reign and Selected Poems is edited with a preface and notes by Christopher Ricks.
