Ternary Cementitious Matrix Reinforced with Sisal Fibre

The main draw back in the application of sisal fibre and other vegetable fibres in the reinforcement of ordinary Portland cement as constructional materials is due to the variability of their properties and lack of understanding on how to increase their performance in terms of strength and durability. This book gives an insight into the enhancement of durability of cementitious matrix reinforced with vegetable fibres by application of a ternary blend of fly ash and calcined waste crushed clay bricks as pozzolanas.
