He began writing speculative fiction in 2009. After ten years as a visual artist representative and paralegal James decided in 2013 to make a better commitment to writing. James has since written a collection of Twilight Zone-themed stories entitled The Artwork (I to V). He's also contributed to numerous anthologies including two volumes of Scierogenous : An Anthology of Erotic Science Fiction and Fantasy (2017 2018) Sweet Sexy and Special Dark: Blerdrotica Book 1 (2020) and Funny as a Heart Attack (2021). Goodridge is a member of the Black Science Fiction Society and oversees the popular Facebook group Who Gives You the Write.</span></p>
