In addition to describing and summarising the origins and beginnings of the Protestant presence in the largest of the Antilles: Cuba the author of this research seeks above all to show the course and the difficulties and possible problems experienced by just this one Protestant group of the Baptist denomination when facing a new political and civil reality. A situation that was created with the triumph of the so-called Cuban Socialist Revolution of 1959.
