Text Book of Plasma Physics

This text book is a compilation of lecture notes collected from various books and websites for a post graduate course in Physics at University of Mumbai. Plasma Physics has been introduced in the post graduate syllabus in Physics in many universities across the globe. I have been teaching introductory Plasma Physics to post graduate students for more than five years. I have read many books on the subject and realized that a text book covering whatever is available in different books to actually understand the depth of the subject is must. This is my effort to compile all my notes on various topics in the form of a book. The book covers elementary Plasma Physics with various basic concepts processes characteristics features and application of plasma. This book not only covers basic introduction to plasma physics for beginners at post graduate level but is also a good resource for researchers beginning their career in Plasma Physics.
