This book focusses on eight variant LXX/MT texts that form the basis of the doctrinal New Testament book of Hebrews--texts such as the last significant and enduring act of Israel in Genesis 32:43; the eschatological last verse of the last song of Moses Deuteronomy 32:43; the transitional covenantal text indicating the transition from the old covenant to the new in Jeremiah 31:31-34; the important theoretical and historical foundational text of the New Testament Epistle to the Hebrews and indeed of the whole of New Testament theology Psalm 40: 6-8; the singular applicatory foundational text of the New Testament Books of Romans Galatians and Hebrews indeed the of the whole of New Testament theology and the great Renaissance Habakkuk 2:3-4; etc as enumerated in the table of contents.
