<p>This workbook is adapted from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Misophonia by Shaylynn Hayes-Raymond but sections may not be in the same order and some content may be omitted for brevity. Clinicians working from a CBT-MISO perspective may wish to own both books to understand the program's full complexity.</p><p></p><p>This workbook is written with a ten-week cognitive behavioral therapy plan for misophonia in mind. It is designed for use in either a therapist-client capacity or as a self-help book. For therapists ten sessions are considered the necessary amount to dedicate to the full book. For self-help readers this translates to one to two hours per week for ten weeks.</p><p>For independent readers it is not recommended to skip ahead and do exercises in quick succession. This program is meant to be completed in a way that allows for a thorough understanding of each section before moving on to the next. Repeating exercises for multiple misophonia triggers or contexts may be desired.</p>
