The 1904 administrative survey on slavery in AOF (Senegal)

The 1903-1904 survey already had a precedent. It is that of 1894 although it is of limited scope. From 1894 to 1904 the slave trade continued in reduced proportions. In fact this reduction is due to the end of major military operations. But the hut captivity continued. The colonial administration attempted to root him out although he was domesticated as the administrators themselves have always been supported. The question that arose was how to implement a new survey without upsetting the customs of the country? This is what we tried to see in this book.
