In The 1970s: Hollywood in times of disenchantment Ricardo Luiz de Souza analyzes films linked to black exploitation and other genres characteristic of 1970s Hollywood as well as some marginal productions that are relatively unknown but whose cinematic merit should be taken into account. Without attempting to be exhaustive the book analyzes 1970s Hollywood based on a study of some of its most representative films.
