West of the city of Pok North of the ruins of Shchevret and somewhere in the vicinity of Nowhere lies Dunttstown nestled in the tiny cracks of a hole in reality. And in that town lives a man named Mongrel Stevens steadfastly existing in the face of all reason. He frequents the improbable dances with the impossible and courts insanity. Of course this isn't all to his liking. In fact he would much prefer to live a more normal very explicable life. But who was he kidding? After surviving attempted murder only to be hit by a bus and killed he met Death itself who didn't like him very much and kicked him out of the afterlife. But while he'd been away his mother had been bludgeoned to death and he felt like it was his fault. Of course it probably was but let's not split hairs.Mongrel then went on to have a brief some might say well-earned vacation - the life of a fictional character in limbo - but now we must return to our regularly scheduled program.As expected things have not improved for our plucky hero.This book includes all ten stories from the 2nd Random Tangent Series.
