The absence of the corpus delicti as a cause of nullity

This paper aims to address the nullity resulting from the absence of the corpus delicti examination in a criminal case thus extinguishing the process in question. It also analyzes the possibility of conducting an indirect examination of the corpus delicti which would be an exclusive option for crimes that leave no trace. However not all indirect examinations have the validity expected by the legislator of the criminal procedural statute.
