These emotions contribute to their survival in a world that can be cruel. Unlike humans they are limited in the ways that they can communicate their emotions. They do however have a keen instinct which helps guide their behavior. When humans and animals bond a wonderful thing happens. A spiritual communication takes over which helps humans and their pets--understand. Animals who are abandoned rely on this survival instinct as they proceed with caution in an uncertain environment. They are sad fearful and perhaps angry. When they are rescued they carefully decide if the home that takes them in is now theirs and when they bond occurs it lasts forever.
