The Adventures of Fearless Girls (from Taiwan)

The stories are based on four elementary school sisters growing up in Taiwan a small island in south east China. From childrens perspective things should simple but real life events are never smooth. From these fearless girls and friends there are funny stories and lessons. The place is a tourist area called Bitan which means Emerald Lake in Chinese. The neighborhood has an old suspension foot bridge a large Buddhist temple and an Air force Cemetery. The stories with Chinese cultural content include a water ski show kite making bamboo bridge in the rice field tunnel exploration and raising silkworms.
