The bicycle travels along the Jing-Hang Grand Canal passed from one boatman to another until it finally reaches Hangzhou. Using these repeated handovers as a narrative thread interwoven with the canal's journey the picture book unfolds across eight towns and regions showcasing their unique history customs and natural landscapes along this extensive waterway on a panoramic horizontal page.</p><p></p><p>住北京的老闫头要将自行车送给在杭州上学的孙子飞飞。沿着京杭大运河，自行车在船夫们的一棒棒接力下终于来到了杭州。绘本以自行车的多次交接作为串联京杭大运河上每一段运河的线索，展现了8个城镇和地区，将不同的城镇以及河段在历史、风俗、自然景观等方面的特点在横长的纸面铺展开来。</p>
