She was born in Uganda and now lives in England with her husband and children. She is also a teaching assistant in a primary school and loves reading singing and writing in her free time.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>While raising her children Alice struggled to find a variety of books that represented different cultures including her own. She wanted to share her African heritage with her children-stories of her magical childhood and the adventures she had growing up in Uganda.</span></p><p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Alice reflects on being raised in a big family with very little to live on but surrounded by love from her parents grandparents aunties uncles neighbours and church community. This is the story of the experiences that have shaped her into the woman she is today.</span></p><p></p>
