The Adventures of Tobio in the Land of the Fays

<p>In <em>Tobio in the Land of the Fays</em> young Tobio leaves Earth on the wings of a spirit to arrive on Jupiter a land inhabited by Fays Sorcerers Wizards Sprites and Dwarves. Thanks to his bravery and loyalty and the help of his mentor the Sorcerer Sirius he soon becomes one of the most important heroes of this new world.</p><p></p><p>In <em>Tobio Detective in the Land of the Fays</em> Tobio makes two new friends: the sorcerer Elegant and Astrobus a dwarf inventor. Together they emerge as the champions of the weak on Jupiter. They build their own castle on Dream Mountain and go on to fight the evil Wizard King Ramines X.</p><p></p><p>In <em>Tobio His Great Adventure</em> Astrobus builds a marvelous vehicle called the Tobiophyllox and the heroic trio accompanied by the Dream Fay go out among the stars visiting Saturn its rings and satellites.</p><p></p><p>Written between 1941 and 1944 by Swiss author Helene Gisiger the Tobio trilogy remains a forgotten classic of children's fantasy literature halfway between <em>The Chronicles of Narnia</em> and <em>The Wizard of Oz</em> and well deserving of great recognition today. </p>
