Flying Over The Flat Tree-Covered Top Of Weeks Mountain In The Foothills Of The High Sierras On Sunday Afternoon In The Fall Of 1983 Pat And Leslie Halston Spot The Perfect Place To Build A Landing Strip Of Their Own. After Persuading Old Mr. Weeks To Sell The Land To Him Pat Clears The Mountaintop For His Landing Strip And A Repair Hangar. They Name The Place The Aerie And Make It Their Home.
