The Alternative

The story revolves around the lives of two main characters Howard Tullis and Alice Renwick. Howard a wealthy and successful man finds himself at a crossroads when he is faced with a significant decision that could alter the course of his life. Alice the woman he loves is at the center of this decision. Howard is torn between his love for Alice and the expectations placed upon him by his family and society. The alternative he faces involves choosing between a life of comfort and conformity or following his heart and pursuing a relationship with Alice who may not be deemed suitable by his social circle.
