From the introduction: The Amazing World of Geology is a collection of poems short stories and interviews with scientist written by students at The Young Women's Leadership School of Brooklyn. Each piece shows their expertise on the topic and should teach you about geology in creative ways. You'll read plays using personification with earthquake waves as characters that teaches us which types of waves travel through Earth's interior. You will playfully answer the Seismic Love quiz to teach us the similarities between types of relationships and seismic waves.
